Opportunity Consulting was founded by Dr. Iris Bond Gill, whose story is deeply rooted in her heritage and personal journey. The proud daughter of an African American father and a Latina mother from Puerto Rico, Dr. Bond Gill’s background has profoundly shaped her understanding of equity and justice. As the first in her immediate family to graduate from college and go on to earn an advanced degree, a belief in the power of education as a vehicle for change fueled her passion to make a meaningful difference. ​After more than a decade working in top-down education and workforce policy, Dr. Bond Gill founded IBG Consulting Group, now dba Opportunity Consulting, with a core belief that those who live the challenges should architect the solutions.
